Climb that mountain, get through that journey, learn that lesson!
 
There are things in life that we dont want to deal with, we jsut want to pass go and collect our $200.   Alas, sometimes it is that very hardship, that obstavcle, that unwanted curveball that can throw us upon a path that leads us to something greater.
 
Palisade reminds us of that journey.  The mountain to overcome and the treasure below that was gained, and now our reminder of what we withstood.
 
The treasure is a Morenci Turquoise stone atop a Sapphire, surrounded by silver.  
 
Sapphires are the next hardest stone behind diamonds; they are formed deep inside the earth only where there is intense pressure and high heat, later brought to the surface by erupting volcanoes and during the formation of mountains.
 
The silver in Palisade gently flows around the sapphire, a reminder to represent that sometimes we must be the water that goes around the moutain.
 
Made of Morenci Turquoise, fine and sterling silver, and a single blue sapphire.
